These Booking Terms apply when you book a ride, experience, or rental through the Faer marketplace, and they supplement Faer’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Faer is a marketplace that connects you with independent drivers and operators; the ride, experience, or rental is supplied by that provider, not by Faer. By completing a booking you agree to these Booking Terms.
A booking request becomes a confirmed booking only when the relevant driver or operator accepts it (where acceptance is required) and Faer issues a confirmation. Until then, availability and price are not guaranteed. Your confirmation, sent by email, sets out the key details of your booking; please check it and contact us promptly if anything is wrong.
The total price shown at checkout includes the provider’s price, the Faer platform service fee, and any applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise. Optional extras, add-ons, security deposits, and provider-disclosed charges (such as rental fuel, mileage, or damage charges) may apply in addition and are shown or described before you book. The currency shown at checkout is the currency you will be charged.
Payments are processed by our payment partner Stripe. By booking, you authorise Faer, acting through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the total booking price and for any applicable fees, no-show, deposit, or damage charges permitted by these terms, the listing, and the cancellation policy. Depending on the booking, your payment may be authorised (held) at booking and captured when the booking is confirmed or completed; for rentals, a separate security-deposit hold may apply. Faer does not store full card details; these are handled by Stripe under its own terms.
You must be at least 18 to make a booking, and you are responsible for ensuring that you and everyone in your party meet any eligibility requirements shown for the booking — for example a minimum age, a valid driving licence for a rental, swimming ability, or health declarations for certain experiences. Some listings set a higher minimum age than the legal minimum. You agree to provide accurate booking and eligibility information; if you or your party do not meet a stated requirement, the provider may decline service, and depending on the cancellation policy a refund may not be due.
If you do not show up for a confirmed booking, or arrive too late to receive the service, you may be charged in full as a no-show. Requests to modify a booking (such as date, time, or party size) are subject to availability and to any difference in price. Cancellations and refunds are governed by Faer’s platform-owned Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is set by Faer at the platform level, applies uniformly across the marketplace, and is presented to you at checkout; that policy controls whether and how much of a booking is refundable.
You agree to follow reasonable provider and safety instructions, to treat drivers, operators, staff, vehicles, and equipment with care, and not to use the service unlawfully or in a way that endangers, harasses, or defrauds any person. You are responsible for loss or damage you cause beyond fair wear and tear, as permitted by these terms and the listing. Providers and Faer may refuse or stop service where conduct is unsafe, unlawful, or abusive.
Because Faer is a marketplace and not the provider, the driver or operator is responsible for the ride, experience, or rental and for any injury, loss, delay, damage, or incident arising from it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faer’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the platform service fee Faer earned on that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer-protection rights.
