Faer is an online marketplace that connects travellers with independent third-party providers across three categories: rides (fixed-route transport by licensed taxi drivers), experiences (tours, dives and activities run by operators), and rentals (cars, scooters, boats and other vehicles offered by operators). Faer is the marketplace, not the provider of any ride, experience, or rental. The transport, activity, or rental is supplied solely by the independent driver or operator you book with. References to "transfer" in our marketing or URLs describe a product travellers search for; they do not make Faer a transportation company.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to book through Faer. Certain experiences and rentals carry additional eligibility requirements set by the operator (for example a valid driving licence, minimum age, swimming ability, or health declarations). You are responsible for meeting those requirements; failure to do so may result in the provider declining service without refund.
Prices, availability and the key terms of each listing are displayed before you book. A booking request becomes a confirmed contract only when the relevant driver or operator accepts it and Faer issues a confirmation. That contract for the underlying service is between you and the provider; Faer is not a party to it. By completing a booking you agree to pay the total price shown, including the platform service fee, and to the cancellation policy presented at checkout, which is set and owned by Faer at the platform level.
Payments are processed by our payment partner Stripe. By booking, you authorise Faer, acting through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the total booking price and any applicable fees, no-show, or damage charges permitted by the listing and cancellation policy. Faer collects payment on behalf of the provider, deducts the platform commission, and remits the balance to the provider. Faer does not store full card details; these are handled by Stripe under its own terms.
Faer charges a commission on each completed transaction across all three verticals. The commission is included in the price shown to the traveller and is disclosed to providers in their payout breakdown. Providers receive the booking price minus the platform commission and any applicable payment-processing fees. Commission rates are set by Faer and may change prospectively; changes do not affect bookings already confirmed.
Drivers and operators are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Faer. They are responsible for holding all licences, permits, insurance and certifications required for their activity (for example a taxi licence and VOG for drivers, or operating permits and liability cover for experiences and rentals), for the safety and accuracy of their listings, and for delivering the service as described. Faer may apply a review gate to experience and rental listings but does not thereby assume responsibility for the underlying service.
You agree to provide accurate booking information, to arrive on time, to follow reasonable provider and safety instructions, and to treat providers, staff, vehicles and equipment with care. You may not use Faer to break any law; to harass, defraud, or endanger any person; to make fraudulent, speculative, or duplicate bookings; to circumvent the platform to avoid fees; to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service; or to post false, infringing, or abusive content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Because Faer is a marketplace and not the provider, the provider is solely responsible for the ride, experience, or rental and for any injury, loss, delay, damage, or incident arising from it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faer is not liable for the acts, omissions, or performance of any driver or operator, and Faer’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the platform service fee Faer earned on that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These terms and any dispute arising from your use of Faer are governed by the laws of Curaçao and, where applicable, the wider Dutch Caribbean. The courts of Curaçao have jurisdiction over such disputes, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
Faer may update these terms from time to time. The version and effective date are recorded with the document, and material changes may trigger a renewed request for your agreement before you continue booking. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
